Blakkwuman22 Music Invites All Lyricists To Its New Open Mic Event In Kingston “Our Ting Our Way”

After two successful staging of the event dubbed ‘Our Ting Our Way,’ the organizer, Blakkwuman22 Music, has decided to make it a weekly occurrence. It will now take place every Friday from 7 PM to midnight at 321 1/2 Molynes Road (at the foot of Red Hills, next to the gas station) in Kingston, Jamaica.

Our Ting Our Way‘ is basically a gathering of artists, predominantly lyricists, capable of exciting an audience with his or her lyrical prowess. They get together in a small venue and trade bars (lyrics) over various tracks.

Blakkwuman22 Music to host Dancehall Cypher Session dubbed “Our Ting Our Way”

On Friday, February 14th, Blakkwuman22 Music – the record label owned and operated by recording artist Karamanti – will host a dancehall cypher session at Stacious Bar (321 1/2 Molynes Road) in Kingston, Jamaica.

Several artists will be touching the mic, namely; Lion Face Itallawah, Big 12, Karamanti, Metal Don, Exhaust and that is just to name a few.

This is a free event that’s open to the public.

Lion Face Italawah will join Vershon, Alkaline & a slew of other artists on the ‘Bring Back the Unity’ stage show in Old Harbour this Saturday

Pong As One Voice in association with One Brain Family present ‘Bring Back the Unity Stage Show’ at the Old Harbour Bay Crossroads in Old Harbour, St. Catharine, this Saturday, December 14th.

The event will feature performances from a slew of trending underground artists such as Lion Face Italawah, Vershon, Kenshade, D Mar and others.

Karamanti to perform at Kwanzaa Yawd Niceness on December 31st

Karamanti has been confirmed for the Kwanzaa Yawd Niceness concert on December 31st at Ellis Estate, Sherwood Forest in Portland, Jamaica.

Also on the lineup for Kwanzaa Yawd Niceness is reggae veteran, Mikey General as well as Hezron, Digicel’s Rising Star, T-Rizzy, Tolerance and Jemineye. In addition to live performances, there will also be Poetry Reading, Story Telling, Prizes and Surprises; most importantly, the promoter – Grow Youth Universal – is not charging an entrance fee and of course, all are invited.
