Blakkwuman22 Music has just released a new dancehall compilation called “Tabula Rasa Riddim.” On it is featured a collaboration by and between Jamaican dancehall lyricist Karamanti and Zimbabwean recording artist Pops Jabu.
The song is called “Jama ZimZim,” and it’s a fun track that celebrates Black power, love, and unity. Each artist—Pops Jabu and Karamanti—wrote their respective parts, Karamanti in Kingston and Jabu in Denmark, which is where he is now based. The rhythm for “Jama ZimZim” was composed by Mindo Beats (Toronto, Canada) and Lamar Thompson (Old Harbour, Jamaica), and it was mixed and mastered by Audio Traxx Production (Jamaica).
Although it’s a new release, “Jama ZimZim” is already getting great reviews. It is rapidly becoming somewhat of an anthem at African nightclubs in certain European countries. If you have not yet heard it, click here or on the image above to download it from your preferred music platform.
