Higher Purse’s “Bitter Sweet Love (Remix)” is available on all streaming platforms

Higher Purse’s “Bitter Sweet Love” was initially shared many years ago. As the name implies, it’s a love song, and one that did very well for the recording artist turned producer. Having been away from the music industry for some time, Higher Purse opted to remake “Bitter Sweet Love” and use it to reintroduce himself upon his return.

“Bitter Sweet Love” is out now and can be downloaded from all streaming platforms. It is on the Russcuttaz Music label, and is being distributed by Blakkwuman22 Music.

“Dancehall Retaliates” remastered & is now back online

“Dancehall Retaliates,” Karamanti’s first full-length studio album released in 2013, has been remastered and is now back online

Songs presented on this album were instrumental in introducing the global reggae-dancehall community to Karamanti! The project led to her being nominated for the best female solo artist in 2013 by the Dancehall Industry Awards (in the UK). Additionally, the official video for “Rise,” a song featured on “Dancehall Retaliates,” was nominated for best dancehall video for 2013. To top it off, Reggae France included “Dancehall Retaliates” in the WINS REGGAE AWARDS, in the category for Dancehall Album of the year for 2013.

Both the original and remastered versions of “Dancehall Retaliates” were released by Blakkwuman22 Music. Most of the tracks were produced by Ricardo ‘Red Boom’ Reid and Shamarie ‘Digital Sham’ Bogle.

“Did It Again” visuals coming soon!

“Did It Again,” the collaborative single performed by emerging recording artists Tenshon and Wiseman, will soon have some visuals. The men recently captured clips for the official music video in Salem, St. Ann, Jamaica.

“Did It Again” is one of five songs on the “Blood Sacrifice Riddim,” produced by Karamanti for Blakkwuman22 Music. It was released late last year (October 2023), and in addition to Tenshon and Wiseman, it also has music by Turbulence, Higher Trod, Yahdeen Essence, and, of course, Karamanti.

The visuals should be out by late June. The “Blood Sacrifice Riddim” is available on all streaming platforms.

New Music Video from the “Restart Riddim”

Some time ago, Blakkwuman22 Music released Restart Riddim, a four-track dancehall compilation that features British-based deejay Peppery, popular vocalist Sherida Sharpe, one of the most underrated dancehall lyricists, I-Talawah, and BW22‘s owner and producer Karamanti.

The imprint is now sharing the video for I-Talawah‘s tune, Truth, which many people think is one of the hardest songs (from a lyrical standpoint) on the rhythm. The visuals were captured in I-talawah‘s Jackson Town district in Kingston, Jamaica, and as such, has clips of several of his friends and family members. Though simple in its presentation, the DJ’s Rastafarian faith along with his aggressive performance, are prominent throughout the recording, thus making it quite gripping.

The official music video for I-Talawah‘s Truth can be viewed on Blakkwuman22 Music‘s YouTube channel, while the song is available for download on all digital music stores.
