After a lot delays and reschedules, we are pleased to announce that Karamanti’s highly anticipated album is finally ready. The ten-track record, titled “Hurt People,” will be released on Tuesday, June 25th.

Keep in mind that this is not your typical music project. In other words, “Hurt People” was created primarily to motivate and inspire victims of both abuse and depression; so it’s more message focus as oppose to music focus.

“Hurt People” is a collaborative effort between Arioso Legato Music and Blakkwuman22 Music.

On Saturday, March 30th, Jah P will be hosting the second staging of his Canada Jamaica Linkup stage-show. Karamanti is among the list of artist that will be on the lineup for the evening. The show will take place at Neegu Lounge on Molynes Road.

Yesterday singer and actress Kerry Starr joined Karamanti at Jungle Lava Studio to add her voice to a couple of the songs that will be featured on Karamanti’s upcoming album. The two artists first met at the 2018 ‘Worm & Friends’ concert in Kingston and have maintained a close working relationship since then.

The new release date for Karamanti’s album “Hurt People” will be announced soon.

The official video for “Be Yourself” by Karamanti, which was shot approximately two weeks ago, is currently being edited and will be released soon. The visuals were captured in both Grantspen (by Charlie Bobus) and Pembroke Hall (by Maria Jackson). It is being edited by Maria Jackson.

Blakkwuman22 Music is pleased to present the brand new LONG ROAD RIDDIM, which features new music from Jemynie, Ceekaih, Mackamilli and label owner Karamanti. LONG ROAD RIDDIM is hardcord dancehall juggling loaded with lyrics and style from four of the industry’s most forward thinking artists. All songs were mixed and mastered by Prosonic Production (based in Portmore, Jamaica).
