Karamanti is now Jamaica’s Brand Ambassador for Trinidad’s GT Network

kara-brand-embassador-for-gtTrinidad’s new network, GT (Great Things), which can be viewed on the Synergy platform, has just contracted recording artist Karamanti to act as the company’s Brand Ambassador for Jamaica. Karamanti’s commitment to the organization will include, but are not limited to, ensuring that the GT brand gets maximum visibility on and in some cases, off the island.

GT’s CEO, Ancil Harris, approached Karamanti with the idea a few days ago and she accepted. The two have been friends for a while as Karamanti was the featured artist on The Vault – a TV show produced by one of Ancil’s production company – a couple years ago and has also collaborated with one of his artist (JB) on a soca track.

Karamanti to perform at Kwanzaa Yawd Niceness on December 31st

Karamanti has been confirmed for the Kwanzaa Yawd Niceness concert on December 31st at Ellis Estate, Sherwood Forest in Portland, Jamaica.

Also on the lineup for Kwanzaa Yawd Niceness is reggae veteran, Mikey General as well as Hezron, Digicel’s Rising Star, T-Rizzy, Tolerance and Jemineye. In addition to live performances, there will also be Poetry Reading, Story Telling, Prizes and Surprises; most importantly, the promoter – Grow Youth Universal – is not charging an entrance fee and of course, all are invited.

Karamanti’s pre-taped interview will be aired tonight on Telesud TV in France

The interview, which was done entirely in French, lasted approximately thirty minutes and covered everything from Karamanti’s religion to her career.
