Ras Index is an independent artist who is known and respected, especially in the streets of Kingston (Jamaica), for the unique way in which he writes and performs his songs. His somewhat eccentric style can be heard on this new record, “For Di Goal,” which is all about him forcefully pursuing his dreams. He cleverly goes back and forth between rapping and chanting and does it in such a way that commands the attention of the listener.

Higher Purse’s “Bitter Sweet Love” was initially shared many years ago. As the name implies, it’s a love song, and one that did very well for the recording artist turned producer. Having been away from the music industry for some time, Higher Purse opted to remake “Bitter Sweet Love” and use it to reintroduce himself upon his return.

“Dancehall Retaliates,” Karamanti’s first full-length studio album released in 2013, has been remastered and is now back online
Songs presented on this album were instrumental in introducing the global reggae-dancehall community to Karamanti! The project led to her being nominated for the best female solo artist in 2013 by the Dancehall Industry Awards (in the UK). Additionally, the official video for “Rise,” a song featured on “Dancehall Retaliates,” was nominated for best dancehall video for 2013. To top it off, Reggae France included “Dancehall Retaliates” in the WINS REGGAE AWARDS, in the category for Dancehall Album of the year for 2013.
Both the original and remastered versions of “Dancehall Retaliates” were released by Blakkwuman22 Music. Most of the tracks were produced by Ricardo ‘Red Boom’ Reid and Shamarie ‘Digital Sham’ Bogle.
